Kidney and Bladder Trouble Causes Great Distress It gives me great pleasure to recommend Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root to any one suffering from bladder trouble. For four years I was troubled by hemorrhages from the bladder and was not able to get any doctor who could help me. I was in such shape that sleep at night was impossible on account of distressing symptoms. While bending over I would be stricken with such a pain that it was imposisble for me to traigbten up. Mr. Henry, one of our leading druggists, advised Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root; although I never had any faith in patent medicines, as a last resort I purchased a dollar bottle of Swamp-Root. I noticed a decided change and after using two bottles I was completely cured. It seemed remarkable that I should be cured so quickly after being ill so long. But since this took place nearly two years ago, I have never been troubled and would highly advise any one suffering from the same trouble to at least give Swamp-Root a trial and T think the result will be the same as mine. Yours very truly, THOMAS A. BENNETT, Greensburg, Ind. Personally appeared before me this 14th day of February, 1913, Mr. T. A. Bennett, who subscribed the above statement and made oath that the same is true in substance and in fact. L. A. BOWER, Notary Public. Letter to Dr. Kilmer & Co., Blnghamton N. Y. Prove What Swamp-Root Will Do For You Send ten cents to Dr. Kilmer 4 Co.. Blnghamton, N. Y., for a sample size bottle. It will convince anyone. You will also receive a booklet of valuable information telling 911 about the kidneys and bladder. When writing, be sure and mention the ' Richmond Daily Palladium. HOW TO GET RID OF DYSPEPSIA Don't Rely on Medicinal Don't Go on Freak Diet; Common Sens and an Antacid Usually All That Are Needed. "If you hava dyspepsia, indigestion; sour stomach, belching, distress after eating, heartburn or any other stomach trouble due to hyperacidity (the usual cause of stomach troubles), you should take no medicine to act upon the stomach itself. That is positively not the way to cure the trouble. Again you should not half starve yourself by going without the nutritious, food that you need to rebuild waste tissues. Some foods are not good for people even when in perfect 'health very rich, sweet, highly seasoned dishes. Avoid these, but . eat fairly substah-' tial meals of plain foods. Eat slowly. Even if you drink nothing but wftljer, yon should not drink with meals. Tbrink before and after eating. Do not take pepsin or other artificial digestants. If you follow the foregoing simple instructions it is probable that you will not need any. medicine at air except, if you want to call it medicine, a little antacid after meals. The best antacid is ordinary bisurated magnesia, which can be purchased at any drug store. This Is not to act' upon the stomach but on the contents of the stomach. The antacid, as you can learn by. consulting your dictionary or. encyclopedia, is merely to neutralize or counteract the excess acid so the stomach can digest the food normally. Take a teaspoonful of bisurated magnesia in a little cold or hot water after each meal. You should get immediate relief, even if your case is severe. Careful, moderate eating and .the use of bisurated magnesia should put your stomach in normal condition in a short time; If von have not. allowed dvsDeDj sIa to advance to. the extreme stage of 'developing stomach ulcers.
