Mrs. William Caldwell of Fortville, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lutz, near this city. The services at the A. M. E. church have been fairly well attended, and much interest manifested throughout. 'Mrs. Enoch Gonzales has returned td Hamilton, 'Ohio, after several days tpent with her mother-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Sells. Samuel Elliot of Indianapolis, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Minor. Mrs. W. J. Hull and daughter, Miss Alma, went to Richmond today to spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Harrison. Mrs. Ancil Williams has gone to Straughans to see her mother, Mrs. James Scott, who is very sick. Elmer Lebo of Richmond, was in the city yesterday. 1226 A Simple, Becoming and Attractive Model. Ladies waist with or without rolled collar, and with sleeve in either of two lengths. This model may be worn over a separate guimpe, if collar is omitted, or, for high neck a chemisette could bo added. As here shown striped taffettn in blue tones, with white pique i'or collar and cuffs, was used. Georgette crepe, white satin, or crepe de chine, are all fashionable materials for this style. It is equally effective in voile, linen, -madras, cashmere, flannel or ratine. The sleeve with deep cuff is new and smart but the short length is equally popular. The pattern is cut in 6 sizes: 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44 inches bust measure. It requires 2 yards of 40-inch material for a 36-ineh size.
