U can ouy ior casn man on creau. iour grocer is a mercnani ana as sucn musi meet nis Is obligations promptly. This he cannot do if his customers do not meet their obligations
regularly. We "believe" in every grocer in Richmond, even though some of them are not regular customers of this house however we commend them all to you, and append a list of those who have now on hands Fruits and other produce from us. Their phone numbers are also given opposite each name. We know the grocers who have bought of us can and will gladly supply you with first class fruit and vegetables at the right prices. We cannot say what the other grocers can do because we have not furnished them the goods. We Want to Help Reduce the High Cost of Living We cannot regulate all markets we do not pose as remarkable public benefactors, but in our way we can and will reduce the cost of Fruits and Vegetables in Richmond. The majority of local grocers are "with us" in this campaign. Some few, however, insist on buying out of town for various reasons perhaps because we positively refuse to cut prices to a few and charge regular prices to the majority. Every grocer has the same opportunity of buying at rock bottom prices from us and we cannot recognize a "select few' and grant them concessions which cannot be accorded to all.
Bushels Potatoes

50c
Per Bushel
We have due to arrive Friday morning 1 200 bushels of Fancy Michigan Potatoes which may be had at your grocer's Friday and Saturday at 50c per bushel of 60 lbs. You can not go wrong in buying these potatoes at this price they are of good quality and while not home grown, they are the equal, if not superior, of any home grown potatoes ever sold. Your grocer can get these 50c per bushel potatoes for you, but he cannot afford to "charge" them they are sold to him delivered at his door at 42c per bushel, and his profit on his investment will be 1 9 per cent. Should your grocer insist that he is unaware of 50c potatoes, tell him where he can secure them if you still have difficulty in securing them, phone us and we will tell you of any number of grocers who can supply you. To the Grocer These Potatoes are "Special" very special at 42c and at that price we cannot undertake to place them in your cellar. They will be delivered to your door free. We suggest displaying them near the door or on the sidewalk with price tickets to make quick sales and to make easy handling. .
Tangerines
We have on hands a lot of extra fancy large Tangerines which the grocers are able to buy in lots of 300 and retail them to you at 1 cent each. (Pk rctofc Any grocer can supply you Vj'ySiera with Fresh Standard Oysters, the very best in the market, solid and

This is an unusual price on Oysters, yet any grocer can make seventeen per cent profit on his investment when he sells them at 25c per quart. Ask your grocer for McLeland Oysters at 25 cents per quart. .
Just A Word About Selling to the Five-and-Ten-Cent Stores We have sold and are now selling these stores some of our goods and in so doing we feel that we are thus again serving the public to the best of our ability. If the 5 and 10c stores wish to engage in the fruit and grocery business, it concerns them principally and since we have merchandise to dispose of and they pay us cash and full market price and then sell to the consumer at a fair margin of profit, why should we be censured? If the 5 and 10c stores are the cause of a general reduction on the price of food stuffs we believe they are serving the public in a way that is commendable and of inestimable value. We ask that the buying public pay cash. Try it! Don't continue to say "charge it." It is up to you, Mr. Consumer, to assist us in this campaign of "Reduced Prices" by paying cash. A single week's trial of the "Cash" policy will surprise you at the saving effected between cash and credit buying. The Following Grocers Have Bought Goods of Us this Week up to the Time of Going to Press
