TUESDAY. "Exploits of Elaine" This Is one of the best of the episodes in this fine serial seen up to date. Not only does the. scientific knowledge of Craig Kennedy play an important part, but there is also plenty of the most thrilling sort of action. The great detective himself, so far forgets his usual methods as to take part in a desperate hand-to-hand battle with one of the Clutching Hand's pans'. Arnold Paly, Pearl White, Sheldon Lewis and the other members of the cast do their usual good work." WEDNESDAY. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. Probably the best of the Lasky releases, "The Only Son," has' a deeper significance than the others and is closer to the human heart. The strong note is not thrust into prominence, but the fiuiet lesson conveyed is more impressive on that account. It is true art to keep ethical consideration in the background, weaving them iniperceptiblv into a story appar ,itly de-
