MONDAY. "The Treasure Temple of Bhosh." At the finish of the first installment of this series, Frank, the honest young street cleaner, and Flora, the beautiful millionairess, were hurtling through the air, after being thrown from a balloon burst by the Arch-Fiend, Sir Simon Blackheart, their hated enemy. By odd coincidence, the balloon basket containing Flora and Frank drops through the glass conservatory of Flora's home, arriving Just in time for tea. Flora then decided to take a trip ! to India to see the Rajah of Chutneyj pore. Frank accompanies her and on I the way they are attacked by pirates. Frank is captured but Flora escapes in the yacht. Poor Frank, with a cannon ' tied to his neck, is thrown overboard. ! THURSDAY. I "In the Hands of the Jury." While j Dr. Butler is discussing with his young partner. Dr. Haines, a deadly poison

Lennice, Butler's daughter, re- ! turns from the theatre just as Mur- ! dock rushes down the street. A few minutes later she discovers her father's body. FRIDAY. "How Cissy Made Good." Cissy writes a motion picture scenario, and submits it to the editor of the Motion Picture Magazine, who intimates she will probably meet with better luck in submitting it elsemwhere. She feels pretty badly, and finally the kindhearted editor offers her a chance to make good. He tells her to go to the Vitagraph Studios and interview the Motion Picture stars there, promising to talk business if she is successful. She does so, and after a little trouble in getting in, starts out, escorted by Flora Finch, to interview Bunny.

The selection of films that the Palace will ofer next week are among the biggest this theatre has shown. Wednesday will be seen Wilton - Lackeye in his greatest stage triumph. t "The Pit," a five-part photo-drama by Shubert & Brady, with an all-star east, including. Gail Kane and Milton Sills. Thursday, Clara Kimball Young in the astounding Vitagraph thriller, "My Official Wife; another five-reeler that for thrills, sensations and exciting situations caps any melodrama ever shown here, the dynamiting of a yacht in mid-ocean, is only one of the big scenes In this wonderful photoplay. On account of the sudden and regular squalls on the lake, the vicinity is called the "Storm Country." Tess is one of these people, and adores her uncouth father. One day he is found near the body of a murdered gamekeeper, with a rifle close by containing one empty chamber. Skinner is accused of the murder and convicted on circumstantial evidence.
