Fountain City Nuggets ETt Mitchell a highly respected colored farmer -west of town who has been sick for the past several weeks. The latest news from Chicago from Mrs. Will Curtis, trustee of Franklin township, states that their daughter Mrs. Lister Baldwin, is not so well. H. T. Hough, a Sophniore in civil engineering at Purdue university, arrived home Thursday. When spring opens up Mr. Hough will go to work for the government on the Ohio river in the construction department. He expects to re-enter Purdue In September. Bon Gardner is confined to his home with quite a severe attack of yellow jaundice. His son A. M. Gardner, of Richmond, was here visiting him one day this week. Hopewell settlement is in a serious shape from the grippe. Some whole families are down with it and the school reports only a third of the enrollment able to come to school.
