Wheat closed, May I1.64V4, July $1.41; corn, may ?2U, July 84V4: oats, may 61, July 68V4Following an irregular and quite unsettled market In wheat there were net advances at the close of 3-4r4c. On the whole the volume of business was small. Corn closed lV4lc higher and oats were up llc. It was reported on the board that some New York capitalists contemplate sending a cargo of flour to Turkey for charitable purposes, and have asked Kansas City miller to contribute. Provisions showed but little change for the day.
Do You Find Fault With Everybody? An irritable, fault-finding disposition is often due to a disordered stomach. A man with good digestion is nearly always good natured. A great many have been permanently benefited by Chamberlain's Tablets after years of suffering. These tablets strengthen the stomach and enable it to perform its functions naturally. Obtainable everywhere. Adv.
QUARANTINE ORDER LIMITS SHIPMENTS Cattle From Affected Areas Kept Out of Open Territory. No live stock from a. quarantined district may be shipped into a free area, according to a sweeping order, superseding all previous orders, received ii this city today by Federal Inspector Wagoner. This will preclude the taking of stock, under a special permit, from Preble and Darke counties into Wayne county for Immediate slaughter. Under the old order stock buyers holding a special permit for the transportation of live stock were able to buy stock In quarantined counties and areas and bring them into free areas for Immediate slaughter. Consignments of stock from Preble and Darke counties, where the the foot and mouth disease was prevalent, were brought into Wayne county under special permits until today. The new order checks even these consignments.

TWENTY BUSHELS MORE GORNON ACRE Illinois Farmer Rejoices Over Result of Corn Growing Test. )
STEWARD. 111., Feb. 4 There may be happier farmers in Illinois than II. R. Coffman, of this town, but it is doubtful. Mr. Coffman started in his season's production with the wise determination to convince himself Just what plant food would do for his soil. He plowed his ground in the spring, harrowed twice and planted with seed that tested 98 per cent. On 20 acres of his poorest land he used fertilizer, applying it through the attachment on his corn drill. On his best land he used none. Note the remarkable result. The use of fertilizer entirely reversed the normal order of things. Mr. Coffman's poor soil the land from which he was fortunate heretofore to eke any kind of profits raised 55 bushels per acre, while his best soil yielded but 35 bushels. Mr. Coffman is happy not over the profits of his 20 lean acres, but because he realizes what the use of plant food on his entire farm will mean next year.
