CHURCH DEDICATES MODERN BASEMENT
MILTON, Ind., Feb. 4. The ladies of the Christian church dedicated the new basement of the church with a reception and miscellaneous . shower, Tuesday afternoon and evening. A large crowd was present in the afternoon, the hours being 2 to 4 o'clock. The time was spent socially and in music in" the main auditorium, with Miss Nellie Jones at the Lgan.
The hours in the evening were from 7 to 9 o'clock and the guests were en
tertained with music by the orchestra.
The ladies were the recipients of many dishes, and . cooking utensils. There

purpose of ascertaining the sentiment of the people - on the . subject of the Increase of passenger 'rates to 2 cents. A resolution was adopted by the meeting favoring the increase. The Thomas Scott farm of fifty acres, one and a half , miles east of Bentonville, has been sold to William Wolf of Dublin, who will take possession March 1. Consideration $7,250.
