KENNEY DRAFTS TENTATIVE NINE TO AMUSE FANS Molleneamp, Best in Semi pro Ranks, May Perform at First Sack for Speedy Combination.
Manager Dick Kenney, of the local baseball club submits the following lineup for the fans for the coming summer: Novae, c; Long, p.; Molleneamp, 1b.; Snyder, 2b.; Cur ley, 3b.; Weil and Cushing, as.; Beebe, rf.; Turner, cf.; Da hi, If. There are several ifs and anda to this lineup as in the case of Molleneamp, first sacker. who was seen in action with the Cincinnati All-stars last season and who tried out with the Phillies in a series of games against the Reds last summer. Molleneamp has the idea that he was cut out for a twirler, but Dick expects to take that notion out of his head as he is too valuable a baseman to start tinkering with the twirling job. In case he can be dissuaded from his illusion Dick will have him on the first sack, giving the locals one of the best packers in semi-pro ranks. The remainder of the lineup is pretty well settled with the exception of the out
field which will probably be changed in at least one place that being in the garden alloted to Turner, although he will be given an opportunity to show what he can do. Chick Long has been offered more money to twirl for the locals than any other mound artist has ever been offered, but has not decided definitely what he will do. The chasing of last season's players goes merrily on by Remington of the Connersville nine, who yesterday signed up Merkle. Schlemker has signed with Rushville.

BREAKS "Y" BOOKING Connersville Offers Roach Trip in Truck. Because Connersville wanted the "Y" team to make the trip in a truck for the basket ball game at that place Saturday night and the "Y" refused to make such a trip this kind of weather, Connersville cancelled the game. It is the firm belief of followers of the lo
cal team that Connersville used this method of cancelling because they feared Roach's team.
How will "Y" basket ball team come out in the game with the State Champion Em-Roe five Thursday night? This is a question among the followers of the speedy aggregation from this city. The Em-Roes will have the advantage of playing on their home floor and with their reputation of having whipped the Indiana University early in the season really appear to have an edge on the rest of the Independent teams throughout the state. Roach's boys despite these "big showings" do not fear the Indianapolis team and if determination counts for anything should easily come out victors. Newspapers over the state have been placing Schepman's men in the first rank and this fact alone is making the Em-Roes look for the hardest game on their schedule. N. Roach, center of the locals, 'almost caused the cancellation of the game. The husky lad was taken sick after the Muncie-Richmond dual meet
Saturday night and it was feared that
he was In for a long siege. He has recovered and will be at his accustomed place. Several followers of the team have signified their intention of
going over with the team. If a sufficient number makes the trip, Physical Director Roach will arrange to
take a special car.

COMMITTEE TO MEET ON FOOTBALL RULES
NEW YORK, Feb. 2. For the first
time in several seasons there will be
no important changes in the football
rules when the committee at the Biltmore on Friday and Saturday of this week meets. There may be some minor changes toward a better codification of the rules. One of the principal abuses on the gridiron last year was the frequent use of substitutes to carry messages from the coaches to the captain on the feld. A more drastic rule in regard to this matter may be passed. Parke H. Davis, the Princeton member of the committee, will make an effort to popularize the numbering of players among the committeemen, but it is doubtful if Yale or Harvard will consent to the numbering system.

LAXATIVE FOR 0L0 PEOPLE "CASCARETS"
Salts, Calomel, Pills, Act on Bowels Like Pepper Acts In Nostrils.
Get a 10-cent box now. Most old people must give to the bowels some regular help, else they suffer from constipation. The condition is perfectly natural. It Is just as natural as it is for old people to walk slowly. For age is never so active as youth. The muscles are less elastic. And the bowels are muscles. So all old people need Cascarets. One might as well refuse to aid weak ryes with glasses as to neglect this gentle aid to weak bowels. The bowels must be kept active. This is important at all ages, but never so much as at fifty. Age is not a time for harsh physics. Youth may occasionally whip the bowels into activity. But a lash can't be used every day. What the bowels of the old need is a gentle and natural tonic. One that can be constantly used without harm. The only such tonic is Cascarets, and they cost only 10 cents .per box at any drug store. They work!
