Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hayes entertained a large company of relatives and friends Sunday at their home In West Manchester to help celebrate their golden wedding anniversary of their marriage.' A sumptuous dinner was served to the invited guests who nresented them with elegant gifts

O'Hara got over a very small part of the route Monday on account of the snow, but Monday afternoon there were snow plows on nearly every road and Tuesday the carrier expected to make the entire trip. The social which was to be held Saturday night was postponed on acuourU of the heavy snow fall. Walter Cohee and wife are visiting friends in Cincinnati this week. Margaret Judd spent the past two weeks with friends at this place. Don't forget the play, "A Pair of Country Kids." at the school building this coming Saturday night Jan. 30th. Reserved seats on sale at O. B. Cooper's store all this week.
Tbe new 7B class at Garfield school is ready for the term's work. The total enrollment of the class is 146. This, in addition to the reBt of tbe school, brings the enrollment of Garfield up to 527. Of the new class 20 are taking tbe English course, 43 tbe German, 18 tbe Latin, 10 the Advanced German (those coming from Hibberd) and 49 the Industrial work.
