DISTRICT ASSESSORS TO CONVENE 111 CITY

A meeting of assessors of tbe Sixth district will be held In Richmond probably February 19, and another meet lng of Wayne county assessors on March 1. Auditor Bowman and Eben Wolcott of the state board of tax commissioners was not certain of the date of the 81xth district meeting, but assured him it would be held in Richmond with the members of the tax commission. AUTOS TO HANDLE GLEN KARN PEOPLE The residents of Glen Kara and four or five other cities will soon be able to go blithely forth in the morning to get the auto truck to Richmond and return bundle-laden the same day, if present plans materialize. Judge Fox said today a man will be appointed to succeed - - Luther C. Abbott as justice or-the peace Saturday, since it is not expected Mr. Abbott will be able to return to his office.
