Mrs. Edith L. Bremner, widow of the late Congressman Robert G. Bremner, is understood to have suffered a nervous collapse as a result of the suit brought against her husband's estate by Miss Theodora Nash, a trained nurse of Paterson, N. J. Miss Nash alleges that Congressman Bremner agreed to provide for her for life if she would agree to break her engagement to a certain young man. She promises to include in her testimony four hundred letters written by the young man at the hearing on her claim for $150 a week or a lump sum of 175,000.
