Collegiate club was held Thursday afternoon at the pretty bungalow home of Mrs. W. O. Men denhall on College avenue. The mothers of the members were the special guests of the occasion. The rooms were effectively decorated throughout with mistletoe, holly and other decorations pertaining to the Yule Tide. The afternoon was spent socially and with needlework. This afternoon at Baxter school & charming Httle play entitled "The Dream Tree" was presented by several of the pupils in Mies Horney's room in the presence ot a large number of parents and patrons of the school; The room was beautifully and artistically decorated, appropriate to the Christmas season, and everywhere the Yuletide spirit was in evidence. The cast of characters for the play so well presented by the children wast Christmas Heralds, Robert Holmes The Hungry Waifs, Florence Davis, Charles Ayers and George Wlssler; Christmas Angels, Georgia Rose, Glenna Miller and Luclle Moormann. Santa Claus, Roscoe Klrknian, JTn Teddy Bear, Warren DeWeese. Mrs. Dwight Young sang and Miss Marjorle Beck played the acompaniments. The play was in charge of Mrs. Charles Davis and MrB. B. B. Groavenor. After the entertainment refreshments were served. This morning the kindergarten, under the direction of Miss Mildred Dick' inson, had a Christmas tree, and there were gifts for each child.
