RIGHMOND SCHOOLS ATTRACT ATTENTION Editors Ask Pickell for Articles Describing Work in All Branches.

That the fame of the Richmond high school Is rapidly spreading over the country is shown in two communications received;" by Principal Frank G. Pickell today. One is a request from the editor of a new educational journal, "Educational Administration and Supervision," published by Warwick and Yorke of Baltimore, asking him to work over his address which he will deliver at the Illinois teachers institute at Springfield, 111., Dec. 31, Into a 3,000 word article for their exclusive publication in their January Issue. The other letter is from Professor Charles Hughes Johnston of the TTnlverslty of Illinois, who recently t-, ed the local schools, asking for complete data on the work of the Richmond high school, to use in an article he has been asked to prepare for the "School and Home Education" magazine. Professor Johnston enclosed a letter from George A. i Brown, manager of "School and Home Education," in which he said, "I find that more and more of our principals and teachers are making the pilgrimage to Richmond. Indiana, as well as to Richmond. Vs., each year. I will be glad to have an article from your pen describing the splendid work of the school there."
