LATTER DAY SITS OBTAIN NEW HEAD f BY LEASED WIRE. INDEPENDENCE, Mo., Dec. 11. Frederick M. Smith today becomes head of the re-organized church of Latter Day Saints upon the death of his father, Joseph Smith, president of the church, last night, after a reign of fifty-four years. The new president, who is 37 years old, was designated by his father for the place after a special revelation eight years ago. Joseph Smith, although in great pain during the last few hours of his illness, remained conscious until the last. "I wish," he said just before death came, "that any friends who may be thinking of buying flowers for my funeral, would refrain from so doing, and feed the poor with the money." The funeral will be held here from the Old Stone church Sunday after "OH! - - OH!" Try "GETS-IT," the Painless New-Plan Corn Cure. See Your Corns Vanish in a Hurry. "Whew! hurts way up to my heart. I've tried almost everything for corns!" Corn-sufferers, cornless joy is at hand! "GETS-IT" is the only real enemy any corn ever had. Put "GETS"Well, Did You Ever! Come Over a-nd See How Easy 'GETS-IT' Got That Corn!" IT" on in 2 seconds, and away they go, shrivel, vanish. No more cottonrings to make the corn sharper and more bulgy, no more bandages to step circulation and stick to the stocking, no more salves to turn the flesh raw and make the corn "pull," no more knives or razors with danger of bleeding and blood poisoning. "GETS-IT" is painless, stops pain, and is absolutely harmless to healthy flesh. Warts and bunions disappear. "GETS-IT" gives immediate relief. "GETS-IT" is sold at druggists' at 25 cents a bottle, or sent on receipt of price to E. Lawrence & Co., Chicago. A. G. Luken & Co. Adv. NOTICE.
