OTHERS MAY .COME

The 1915 Commercial club banquet probably will be addressed by the most important speaker of any banquet under the direction of the organization. S. E. Swayne, chairman of the program committee, said last night at the meeting of the club directors, that her has already secured Senator B. F. Shively, W. G. Ilogan of Indianapolis, president of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce; Hon. George A. H. Shidler of Marion, chairman of the board of trustees of the Indiana penal farm, and Addison C. Harris of Indianapolis, former minister to Austria. Probably the talk which the Commercial club mtmibf-rs will follow most closely will be that of Addison C. Harris. Mr. Harris left Austria shortly before the entire continent of Europe was brought into the war. It is said lie is able to reveal the causes which the powers of Kurope save as the start of the war, and the developments up to the first declaration of war. Harris Knows Emperor. He was also in close" touch with the details of the Servian trouble and with the incidents of the assassination of the crown prince of Austria. He was a friend of Franz Joseph, ruler of Austria, and had frequent Intimate talks with him. Mr. Swayne said that be is corresponding with ottaor prominent men whom he wants on the program of the banquet. The names of these men will not be given out until ther acceptance has been received. The entertainment committee is making preparations to feed between five and six hundred on the fourth floor, of the Masonic temple, C. D. Slit'er, the chairman, reported. This number will fill the dining hall to capacity. The date for the banquet. January 7, was fixed last week by President Seirll, and ratified last night by the board of directors.
