&f IS I WILLIAMS WEDS
NEW PARIS, O., Nov. 17. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Williams south of Westville, was the scene Thursday of a very quiet wedding, when their daughter, Miss Grace, became the bride of Ernest Purviance, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Purviance. The ceremony was performed at noon by Rev. C. A. Hunter, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Eaton, in the presence of thirty immediate relatives of the bride and groom. The bride was lovely in her dress of white crepe de chine, fashioned with white satin and lace. She wore a corsage boquet
of bride's roses. Immediately after the ceremony, an informal reception was held and congratulations tendered after which the wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Purviance left at three o'clock for Dayton and other points where they visited relatives until Sunday. The bride traveled in a costume of blue cloth with a black velvet hat. After Nov. 25th, they will be at home to their many friends on the John Purviance farm. The young people are well ahd favorably known in New Paris arid vicinity and have the best wishes f a host of friends. Nineteen states now require that an examination in agriculture be passed before a teacher may obtain his certificate.
