Dr. and Mrs. David W. Dennis 'Will be boat and hostess for a meeting of the Tourist club at their home in West Richmond. A card party -will be held in the afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Moose ball. A meeting of the Hill-Top Sewing circle will be held at the home of Mrs. Ira Wood on South Twentieth street. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kolp will meet their beginners' class in dancing in the Eagle's hall on South Seventh street.

Mrs. Frank Crichet will meet her dancing class in the Odd Fellow's hall after which there will be an assembly party. A supper will be given at the St. Paul's Episcopal Parish house by the members of the St. Paul Guild. The Mary Hill W. C. T. U. will meet with Mrs. George Bowers at her home on Hunt street. Social Number Nine Pythian Sisters will be entertained in the afternoon by Mrs. Edward Stlgelman at her home on North Fourteenth street. A supper will be given at the South Eighth Street church.

Myrtle Petty; Messrs. Fred Sittloh, Christ Hale, Charles Sittloh. Mrs. Ira Wood, assisted by her mother, Mrs. Hawkfns, will entertain the members of the Hill-Top Sewing circle at her home on South Twentieth street. All members are invited to be present.

Mrs. Ella Van Heusen has as her guests at her home on North Fourteenth street, Mesdames Clifton Comly and Marvin R. Maxwell of Indianapolis.

Mrs. William Mooney of Columbus, O., is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. S. E. Smith at their home in Easthaven. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Druitt entertained several guests to dinner last evening at their home on South Thirteenth street. The function was quite informal.

An attractive luncheon was given at i o'clock today by Mrs. S. E. Smith at her home in Easthaven when she took this means of extending a courtesy to her guest, Mrs. William Mooney of Columbus, O. The guests were served at two tables. One of the

tables was appointed with pink chrysanthemums while the other was arranged with clusters huge bronz chrysanthemums. I'he decorations were pretty and ad 1 to the attractiveness of the entire affair. Covers were laid for Mesdames William F. Starr, W. Piatt Robinson, Frederick J. Carr, Charles Shiveley, Ray Karr Shiveley, William Dudley Foulke, Jennie Yaryan, Rudolph Gaar Leeds, Frederick F. Bates, Milton Craighead, John S. Lightbourn, William Mooney, Misses Elizabeth Comstock, Margaret Starr, Clara Comstock and Meb Culbertson. The Kappa Sigma Nu met at the home of Miss Florence Bart el on South Sixth street, Tuesday evening. After the business hour the evening was spent socially and with games and music. Later a delicious menu was served. The guests were Misses Florence Cummins, Mary Mc Mullen, Tresa Collins, Mary Williams, Ver Pfafflin, Margaret Beasley, Blanch Hampton, Marie Hawekotte and Gertrude Dietrich. The next meeting will be held at the home of Miss Margaret Beasley, South Seventeenth street. A pleasant surprise was given Miss Pauline Petty Tuesday evening at her home on North Seventh street in celebration of her birthday anniversary. Games, music and luncheon featured the occasion. A pretty handkerchief shower was given this afternoon by Miss Agnes Cummins at her home on South Fifteenth street, when she entertained in honor of Miss Ethel Brown, who will be married next month to Mr. Allen Jay. The color scheme, pink and green, was carried out in all the appointments. The afternoon was spent embroidering. At a late hour the guests were bidden to the dining room where a delicious repast was served. In the center of the table was a mound of pink flowers embedded in ferns. The shades were drawn and the. apartment lighted by the means of candles. Pretty candles in handsome crystal holders also appointed the table.
