PAGE THREE who worked on the Dayton murder case, hurried to the home of Mrs. Dayton-Maupin last night after her suicide had been reported, and with Chief Goodwin and Coroner Peirce, made a thorough examination of the woman's effects hoping to find some letter or statement which would give the much desired information concerning the death of Dayton, but the search was a fruitless one. Letters and post cards galore were found, but not one line mentioning the death of her second husband. "I did find letters written by Mrs. Maupin which further confirms my belief that she wrote the 'confession' Joe Snyder Is alleged to have made, assuming the guilt of Dayton's death," Mr. Gormon said today. "It was because of the similarity of her handwriting to the hard writing of Snyder's alleged confession that caused me to twice have her brought' before the grand Jury. She was a most peculiar woman and as nervy as a lion. She never said one word which might implicate her with guilty knowledge of Dayton's death and she went through many a grilling cross examination.' DAMAGES VESSELS

NORWAY
ALLIES TO ATTEMPT FLANK ATTACKS Oil GERMANS HI NORTH 'Anglo-French Armies Supported by Belgian Troops
Press Eastward Along North Sea Coast. BY LEASED WIRE. PARIS, Nov. 12. Following a long erles of bloody frontal attacks, which Stand without precedent for fierceness, the allies are now trying to launch a flanking movement in the battle of Flanders. Under the protection of the guns tf the powerful Anglo-French fleet,
'vhich lies off the Belgian coast, an army made up of British, French and Belgians and Indians as trying to swing around the right wing of the German forces on the Ostend-Dixmude-Ypres line. The allies have been able to make progress, but very slowly, for the invaders have fought with the fury of demons, contesting every inch of ground with all the strength at their command. It was at first believed that the allied army, pressing eastward along the North Sea coast had tor its object the opening of the road to Antwerp, but it is now believed that the real object was to effect an envelopment movement. Night attacks have been a feature of the fighting at Ypres and at Armentires, where the assaults and counter attacks have been terrific. Farther to the east, in Belgium, the Germans are said to have charged as many as fifteen times in one night.

COMB SAGE TEA IN HAIR TO DARKEN IT
Grandma Kept Her Locks Dark, Glossy, Thick With a Mixture of Sage Tea and Sulphur.
The old-time mixture of Sage Tea and Sulphur for darkening gray,
streaked and faded hair is grandmother's treatment, and folks are again using it to keep their hair a good, even color, which is quite sensible, as we are living in an age when a youthful appearance is of the greatest advantage. Nowadays, though, we don't have the troublesome task of gathering the sago and the mussy mixing at home. All drug stores sell the read-to-use product called "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound" for about 50 cents a bottle. It is very popular because nobody ca7i discover it has been applied. Simply moisten your comb or a soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning the gray hair disappears, but what delights the ladies with Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur is that besides beautifully darkening the hair after a few applications, it also produces that soft lustre and appearance of abundance which is so attractive; besides, prevents dandruff, itching scalp and falling hair. Next Week 6 Reel Lubin Photo Drama In connection with Mrs. W. K. Vanderbilt's crusade against the cocaine and drug habit.
THE DRUG
TERROR
All
Seats
The Story of The Drug Terror as told in the six reel Lubin Photoplay. The six reel photo drama "The Drug Terror" will be seen at the Muray for five days next week commencing with the Monday matinee. The picture shows a shipping clerk for a drug firm, who has contracted the cocaine habit and whose wife is in misery, his children illy kept and illy clad, because most of his wages goes to pay for the drug when he is unable to steal it. Finally he is caught by his employer and discharged. He goes to one of the heads of the firm and begs cocaine. He gets it after parting with most of his last week's wages to pay for it. This member of the drug firm becomes obsessed with the idea that he can make a fortune by selling cocaine alone. He does so and amasses great weatlh. But the viper has crept into his own home. His son-in-law, and even his daughter have fallen victims to the deadly habit. And so the picture goes. The rich become poor, the vigorous become weak, and the honorable become thieves.
