INCREASED LEAD.
f BY LEASED WIRE. WASHINGTON, D. C, Nov. 12. Democratic gains in belated election returns have increased the majority of the party in the next house of representatives to thirty-one according to an unofficial list compiled today by South Trimble, clerk of the house. The line-up under this compilation is: Democrats 233; Republicans 193; Progressives 7; Independents 1; Socialist 1. Total 435. As it requires 218 votes to control the house these figures show the majority party will have 15 more than enough for this purpose.
