ARBA, IND. Raymond Bowen was seen In town Monday. Miss Ida Haisley spent Sunday with Misses Edith and Lucy Thorn. Russell Burkett and wife in Dayton, O., last week attending the funeral of a relative. Mr. and Mrs. Will Bowen and Sam Nicholson at Sunday dinner with Rev. Coppock and wife. Wayne Snoek nnd family were seen Sunday passing through town on their way to William Smock's, where they spent the day. Mrs. Edna White spent the latter part of last week visiting with, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Davis, who reside near Lynn. Mrs. Dan Burkett and daughter, Mrs. Ed Hockett, called on Mrs. Burkett's brother at Winchester, Monday. Her brother is nin very poor health. Mrs. Ethel Black went to Indianapolis last Thursday, where she underwent an operation for tumor. Latest word received announced that she was on a fair way to recovery. A Halloween party was given by tho Christian Endeavor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Haisley last week. Everyone present reports having a good time.
