ATTACK Oil DIMPLES HURT HERJEELIHGS Member of Michigan Woman's Federation Returns Heart Broken to Husband. BY LEA8ED WIRE. ADRIAN, Mich., Oct 26. Bitterness nd tears reign in the federation of 'women's clubs of Michigan, following Mrs. Anna Caulfield McKnight's charge on the floor at the state meeting here that Mrs. Emma Fox, of Detroit, state parliamentarian, had ruined her chances of election as president by telling a newspaper reporter that Mrs. McKnight "wore manufactured dimples." Mrs. McKnight, who is a prominent club woman of Grand Rapids, shrilled her charge at Mrs. Fox withdrew her name from the race and burst into tears. She sank to a chair in the corridor and remained sobbing for almost an hour. "Now I must go home to my husband with this terrible accusation still upon me," she moaned when her friends finally led her away. Mrs. Fox, after the meeting, denied she had ever made a statement as Mrs. McKnight claimed.
