"Because She Loved Him So." Starting Monday, Oct. 26th, the Hawkins Players will present, "Because She Loved Him So." Mr. Hughes author of "Officer 666" and many other well known successful comedies has added one more to his long list in writing "Because She Loved Him So." Miss Lewin will be seen in the part of Gertrude West the wife that is extremely jealous of her husband a part entirely different and the opposite of the role she is taking this week. Miss Lewin has won a reputation as a versatile actress and will have the opportunity to demonstrate the same in the second weeks play. Mr. Hawkins in the role of the husband will be seen at his best. The entire remaining case will give a good account of themselves. The special scenery being built for the production promises to make some of the prettiest stage settings seen on the Gennett stage. Every wife that is extremely jealous of her husband will be admitted free by leaving her name at the box office. At the Thursday matinee of this week a souvenir photo of Miss Lewin will be presented to all those attending. Another public reception will be held on the stage after the last act Thursday night.

SALTS IF BACKACHY AND KIDNEYS HURT

Drink lots of water and stop eating meat for a while if your Bladder troubles you.

When you wake up with backache and dull misery in the kidney region it generally means you have been eating too much meat, says a well-known authority. Meat forms uric acid which overworks the kidneys In their effort to filter it from the blood and they become sort of paralysed and loggy. When your kidneys ft aluggist and clog you must relieve them, like you relieve your bowels; removing all the body's urinous waste, else you have backache, sick headache, dissy spells; your stomach sours tongue is coated, and when the weather 1b bad you have rheumatic twinges. The urine Is cloudy full of sediment, channels often get sore, water scalds and you are obliged to seek relief two or three times during the night. Either consult a good, reliable physician at once or get from your pharmacist about four ounce of Jad Salts ; take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneys win then act fine. This famous salts is maee from toe acid of grapes and lemon Jirioe, combined with lithia, and has been need for generations to clean and stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to neutralise acids in the urine so tt no longer irritates, thus ending bladder weakness. Jad Salts Is a life surer for regular meat eaters. It la inexaensrre, cannot Injure, and makes a delightful, effervescent lithia-water drink. (Advertisement)

OL0 TRAILS PARTY TAKES CITY VIEWS FOR MOVIE SCREEN Boosters of Move to Preserve National Road Comment on Beautiful Scenery in Wayne County. Two months from now Richmond will see itself as it was today. Some of the most beautiful scenic

effeots which have been taken by the

party of National Old Trails association members since they left Kansas City, were secured in and around

Richmond, President Faidley of the

aidley Motion Picture company said today. Mr. Faidley and Secretary Davis of the National Old Trails association spent the entire day getting panoramic views of the city and countryside, taking in motion pictures their first views of a concrete road since leaving San Diego, Cal. "I believe the citizens do not appreciate what scenic beauty they have

access to around Richmond," Mr. Faidley satd after ha had taken several pictures. These Include the river valley. Main street bridge, Morton dam. Mlddleboro concrete road. Glen Miller natural scenery and pictures of the zoo. Earlham college and the points where the old National road bridge was located. Cross Stats Line. This afternoon members, of the Daughters of the American Revolution were taken to the state line In autobiles. Ther Mr. Faidley secured pictures of them as they crossed Into Ohio on the National road. Mr. Faidley uncovered an interesting bit of history In taking a picture of the bend in Main street between Ninth and Tenth street. The .land to the north of the bend was muddy and the National road could not be constructed in an ordinary manner through it. Through some misunderstanding the owner of the land refused to permit the construction of. the road across his property, and it was necessary to change the course as it had first been planned, Had this not occurred the city probably would have been divided differently, as Main street would have been slightly to the north. The picture taking party returned to Cambridge City today. They will then proced eastward along the route of the National road to Washington,
