MURDERER GASHES HEAD WITH BIG AX BY LEASED WIRE. ASHLAND, Wis., Oct. 13. After argument over the war, George Gasper, a Hungarian farm hand killed Bert Walsak, his employer, a Polish-American, and then himself. Gasper killed Walsak simply by blowing his head off with a shotgun, but the things he did to himself were many. He shot himself through the stomach first. Mrs. Walsak took the shotgun from him, and he retreated to the woodpile, where he hacked at his head with an ax.
