"The Girl and the Tramp." "The Girl and the Tramp," a bright comedy, which Is proving to be very successful, will be presented at the Gennett next Saturday matinee and night. The play tells the story of a man who is driven from home through tUe artlficles of his enemy who flees to the west where he prospers. In the meantime the plotting man continues in his efforts to drive the family into ruin. He wishes to marry the wife who is left alone. Flo Randall, a girl from the bowery, aided by Happy Jack, the tramp, aids the abandoned woman in her fights against the plot- ' ter, and In the end all ends happily. A young man in Atchison, Kan., telephoned his girl at midnight that he had dropped a dime on her front porch earlier in the evening and would appreciate it If she would get up early next morning and look for it before any one else came on the porch.
