Richmond's grand opening Thursday and Friday in which all shops and stores are taking part will establish the city's lead.

These are being arranged in one gorgeous display for the fall shopper to make her choice. By holding their Fall Openings simultaneously the merchants are holding forth an additional inducement for persons from a distance to come to the city. During one day the shopper can visit many of the different stores and there inspect the latest in everything from headwear to footwear. . Decorations of autumn leaves and golden rod will transform the stores and windows into beautiful bowers. Thousands of persons from surrounding towns will visit the city Thursday and Friday, knowing that Richmond's stores display of Fall styles will equal that of the metropolitan stores miles and miles away. Steam and interurban lines are preparing for a busy day caring for the throngs expected to pour into the city from all directions Cambridge City, Economy, Fountain City, New Paris, Eaton, Liberty and Connersville. The crowds are expected to rival those that swarmed the streets during the'fall festival a year ago.
