HER FAMILIES GATHERJT PARK Ninety-five Persons Take Part in Annual Picnic and Program. MILTON, Ind.. Aug. -13. The Warner family held Its- annual reunion at Jackson park Tuesday. There were ninety-five In attendance. The morn Ing was spent in greeting each other and partaking of the fine spread. In the afternoon the following program was observed: Reading, Miss Ruth Leverton of Milton; solo by Benton Wissler of east of town; sol oby Eula Leverton; duet. Misses Daphne and Lois Dailey; talk by the Rev. Alfred Wagner of Garnet, Kansas, In which he gave a pleasing talk on his early days after which he followed with a graphic account of their trip by automobile from their Kansas home to Indiana and Wayne county. The following officers were chosen for the coming year: Benton Wagner of Milton, president; Benton Wissler of east of Milton, vice president; Mrs. Will Hicks of south of Milton, secretary, and James Shank of Whitewater, treasurer. Mr. and Mrs. Lute Lantz, Jr., were at Connersville Wednesday owing to the illness of Mrs. Lantz's mother, Mrs. M. E. Kinsey. Born to Dr. and Mrs. Albertson, a daughter, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Joseph Weigel of Cambridge City, spent Tuesday with her daughter. Mrs. II. D. Huddleston.
Mrs. Martha Stover has returned from an extended visit with relatives and friends at Indianapolis. Miss Ruth Leverton was an invited guest at the Wagner reunion, Tuesday. The Rev. Mr. Westhafer has not been so well. Funeral Services. The funeral services of the late Ann Wasson of Indianapolis, was conducted at the Friends church at Milton Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock the Rev. Mary Mills, assisted by Ralph Whitely, officiating. The music was furnished by the Friends choir including Mrs. H. H. Heist and Mrs. Vene Beeson, of the M. E. choir and Mrs. Harry Doty of the Christian church choir. There were many beautiful flowers Bent by friends as expression of respect and sympathy. The attendance of friends was large. Among the out of town relatives were Mrs. Martha Owens of Dublin, and Mrs. Lizzie Owens Rubaka of Hamilton, Ohio. The body was accompanied from Indianapolis by the son, Edward Wasson and family, and the daughter, Miss Mary Wasson. The committal was in the family lot at Westside cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Crist were callers of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Langston of north of Dublin, Monday afternoon. Mrs. Will Stahl and daughter Miss Mary, of Richmond, are spending a
few days with the former's mother, Mrs. James Coons, who is now convalescing after a serious illness. Visit Mrs. Noll. Mrs. Harry Noll had as her guest Wednesday, Mrs. Hannah Hill and Mrs. Folfe, of Centerville. Mrs. Oscar Kirlin and Miss Augusta Miller were at Richmond Wednesday. The Misses Emily Bason and Christine Hill, who have been the guests of Mrs. Joseph Clevenger have gone to Norfolk, Va., to spend a few days before returning to their home at Brooklyn, N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ogborn of Clarksburg, W. Va., are here to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Kellsim. Mrs. Kellam and guests were at Cambridge City Wednesday as the guests of Mrs. Sam Williams. Mrs. Mary Walker of north of Dublin, was the guest of Mrs. Vene Beeson over Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wasson and ton, and Miss Mary Wasson of Indianapolis, were entertained over Tuesday night with Mrs. Edward Wasson's mother, Mrs. Elwood Hussey and family, west of town. Logan and family of Paris, 111., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Manlove. They are enroute to Ohio. Miss Ollle Castetter of Centerville, is the guest of Miss Blanche Moore. C. T. Price of Williamsburg, was the guest of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Passmore, Wednesday. Mrs. Alonzo Heiney of Modoc, Is the guest of Mrs. Frank Doty and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Quincy Bryant and family of Dublin, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bryant. The ladies of the Christian church enjoyed an all-day quilting; bee with Mrs. Flora Ferguson, Wednesday. A picnic dinner was served.
COMPROMISE CASE AGAINST SAYLES
Compromise has been effected in the injunction proceedings filed by Ernest G. Kast and W. F. Clark against F. E. Sayles, of the Sayles Stock company. The plaintiffs paid the costs. Several weeks ago when the company was playing an engagement in the Murray theatre, Richmond, Kast and Clark spirited two trunks to Eaton in an effort to cefmpel Sayles to pay them alleged back salary.
