Cooking experts who will judge the hundreds of recipes for devil's food cake, which have been entered in the Palladium's $5 prize contest, have been selected. Both are well-known as judges of culinary arts. Mrs. Benton Addington has served as president of the Domestic Science association for several terms while Mrs. Harry Mather is one of the society's most active members. Mrs. A. D. Cobb who has been givingnstruction in domestic science to the women of the county, will serve as the third judge. The contest has been extended from the time announced last Thursday. The final closing has been set for 6 o'clock Saturday evening when all recipes to be considered for the prize must be in the Pallad ium office. This will give an opportunity for a few more to enter the competition and enable the judges to make their award Monday. The winner's name and the recipe which was considered the best by the judges will be announced in Monday evening's issue of the Palladium. The women sending the best recipe will receive the $5 on Monday.
