NEW PARIS READY FOR Sll FOURTH Only Band Concerts and Athletic Contests on Ohio Town's Program. NEW PAKIS, O., July 3. Arrangements are all completed for the Fourth of July celebration and a safe and sane holiday will be observed. A. F. Scott will be master of ceremonies. Rev. Elisha Knelsley, pastor of the local M. K. church will deliver a patriotic address at 11 o'clock a. m., at the bandstand which will be erected at the corner of Main and Washington streets. The music will be furnished by the New Paris Merchants' Band, under leadership of Forrest Pierson. The track meet in the afternoon at the Athletic field promises to be a treat and much interest is being taken in it. The Boy Scouts will give an exhibition. At 3 p. m. the New Paris Grays will play a game of baseball with the Richmond Senators, which promises to be a fast game. Throughout the day there will be roque playing on the five courts, lawn tennis on the local court, and there will be no dearth of amusements. Citizens generally have slgnl--.et their willingness to do themselves proud in the display of patriotic emnl?ms about their dwellings. Both br.nks will be closed and a rather .'Siv.plete suspension of business at least during the afternoon, will be the rule.
