The weather man permitting, eight toama of the S. A. L. will be in action this afternoon. But three games are scheduled for Richmond tomorrow, the other teams being out of town or have failed to make bookings. The heavy rains of the week have put the diamonds in poor shape, but a few hours of sunshine will make playing possible. Should the weather man kindly allow no more rain to fall, games will be possible this afternoon and tomorrow. The revised schedule of the S. A. L. calls for the Seeders to tackle the Natcos at Athletic park; Wayne and Robinson to settle their disput at the playgroundgs; McGuire and Panhandle affair at Natso park, and the Ad-Hill and Fasthave scrap at the Easthaven grounds. ine sideshow to the Richmond-Dayton Shamrocks game at Athletic park tomorrow will be the Cub-Morton Raid ers go at the West Side park, rercy Griffin has not selected an opponent for his Union Giants, but will have a team lined up by tomorrow. The frame will be played at Morton park. The Park Rats and the Richmond Butchers will meet at the Natco park in the morning. Both local teams hope to set out of the rut they have been in the entire season, and will offere real opposition. Orella Clapp and Rus Hawekotte, two stars of the Owls, have cast their lot with the Senators and will work with them tomorrow. Flushed with the defeat of the Richmond Senators, the New Paris Grays will invade Fountain City tomorrow afternoon. This game will likely be one of the closest in the county, as both teams are old rivals and enemies. Roop and Hampton, two Richmond hoys, will work aaginst the up-county Hoosiers. The only noise that the Gem City Irish make along this line is that they are capable of giving any team all the opposition wanted. The team is made up of youngsters who acquired their early baseball knowledge on teams of Dayton schools, and have the reputation of being a scrappy, hard working outfit that plays the game for the sport there is in it. The team's record this season has been nothing marvelous, but at the same time it has met and held its own with the best in Ohio. ' Stecher and J. Folker will be brought along to take care of the serving part for the Shamrocks. Both are but younsters and have shown form this season against the strongest teams of the Gem City. Maloney, seen here with the Dayton Cadets baseball team, will tend the left pasture for the visitors. Dick Kenney expects to bring Ludwig, the Hamilton flinger, with him tomorrow. Kinsburg, the Brooklyn checker champ, made the rather large assertion that he would hold bis own with a dozen men at one time, "he was not shooting the breeze," but nevertheless his performance of this stunt was a bit dimmed when one particular G. P. Clawson, a Richmond man, turned the trick, on the champ two out of three. Whether Kingsburg was just laying down on his job or not is unknown.
