Milton Hiram Crook was overcome by-beat while sitting on a binder yesterday morning. He was carried from the wheatfield where he was working, to bis home. He is better. SPECIAL PROGRAM. Eldorado The Christian Endeavor society of the U. B. church has arranged a special program for next Sunday evening. Special music and addresses will be the features of the program. TO HELP MOTHERS. Williamsburg Mrs. Kelly of the Kelly hotel, and Miss Echo C. Woolley of the Williamsburg postofflce, have formed a Sewing club of women who 'rave nothing to do of afternoons, so ' bey may make some mothers who nre burdened with the care of children happy by sewing for them. F. KLOTZ DIES. Cambridge City Frederick Klotz, a:-red 63, while at work Wednesday afternoon for George Shaffer in the harvest field on the Lewis Rusk farm near Germantown, was tricken with apoplexy. Wright's ambulance was called and Mr. Klotz was taken to his home, expiring a few minutes after MILTON i i Milton was visited by heavy showers Thursday morning, which were accompanied by hail, thunder and lightning. Mrs. Adam Snyder and daughters, Marie and Catherine, will leave Tuesday for Effingham, Kan., to visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Crist, Mrs. Vene Beeson and Mrs. H. H. Heist formed an auto party to Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Templin of Middletown, O., who are guests of Mrs. S. Templin, were at Cambridge City Wednesday, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. UlysseB Eaton. The Christian Bible school orchestra will give a concert at the church Saturday evening. A feature will be French horn solos by Philip Gates of Richmond. Frank Cummings of Richmond was here Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Linville Wallace were at Beeson's Station Thursday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Benj'. Copeland. Mrs. Charles Basson has received word of the death of her brother, Fred Klotz of East Germantown. He died suddenly Thursday morning. Mrs. Hattie Heist was at Cambridge City Thursday. Mrs. Mary Benninger returned Wednesday evening from the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Dorgan, west of town. Mrs. Benninger has ben sick. Mrs. Charles Stewart of Flint Mich., has returned from a visit with her iiunt, Mrs. Ed Leibhardt at Richmond, to the home of her grandmother's Mrs. J. L. Wike. Miss Helen Iamberson of Straughn, is the guest of her aunts. Misses Anna and Emma Gingrich. The members of the dancing class from here, attended a meeting of the club at Jackson park Thursday evening. Visits Mother. Mrs. Clarence Helmsing of Cambridge City is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Harrison Marlatt. Mesdames L. E. Thompson, E. P. Jones, R. W. Warren, L. H. ""arren, F. C. Hagerstown The annual banquet which closes each year's work of the history club was held Tuesday afternoon at the home of Miss Mary Clark and Miss Anna Unthank. A program was rendered, followed by the banquet, which was served in three courses in the dining room. The table appointments were in lavender and white, the club colors. Flowers in profusion ornamented the rooms. Outside of the members the guests were Mesdames David Niccum, A. R. Jones and Martha Bunnell.
