NEW PARIS, O., June 9 Friday was observed as clean-up day by members of the Presbyterian church., and tho church building was thoroughly cleaned and presented a fine appearance when finished. Mrs. Claude Sinck and son Richard spent 1st week with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Samuels. Mrs. Viola Watts entertained Mesdays Ida Lacey and William Watson of Richmond,, Mrs. William Watts, Sr., Mrs. Levi Watts and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Reinheimer. Miss Pet Weiland returned Friday from Chicago and Indianapolis, where she spent the winter with relatives. She wishes to thank her friends for the brace which she was able to purchase from funds raised locally by popular subscription. She is able to walk with agility without the use of her crutch. On Friday the seventy-sixth birthday anniversary of David Sherer was observed by his children inviting themselves to a dinner at his home. Those present were E. H. Sherer of Dayton, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Sherer, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Sherer, Mrs. Cora McWhinney and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kthmer Reld and Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Pence.
