GERMAN SOCIETIES ASK NEW QUARTERS

Herrenf"i Abend" was celebrated last night by members of the Richmond Mtennercuor at their hall on South Sixth street The affair was an informal smoker, short talks, songs and discussions being the order of the program. There are 135 members of the organization. Speaking of the early history of the organization, Matt Von Pein, one of

the oldest members of the body, told ! of the origin of the singing club in 1858. The club then numbered but a few members, one of which was John Schumann of South Ninth street, now nearlng his ninetieth birthday, is still living. Will Duning, present director of the Verein, gave a short synopsis of the work of the body In recent years. His report showed a large increase in the membership of late. He also outlined the work and principles that the organization stands for. He announced that all arrangements for the Louisville trip have been completed. Adolph Blickwedel, who has been a member for years, brought up the subject of a new home being secured for, the various German organizations in this 'city. This plan met the approval of the members, and it is probably that something will be done. A feature of the evening was the exhibition drill given by members of the German Militaere Verin, under the leadership of William Duning, Jr. This company is composed of men who taak part in the Franco-Prussian war. The men wore the uniforms and arms that were presented to the Verein by the German emperor some time ago.

leaving a acar. Pimples broke out all over my face, red and large. They festered and came to a head. They itched and burned and caused me to scratch them and make sores. They said they were seed warts.' At night I was restless from lthfnff. Whan ttlA hftrhnf

bleed terribly. Then scabs would form afterwards, then they would drop off and the so-called seed warts would come back again. They were on my face for about nine months and the trouble caused disfigurement while it lasted. "One day I read in the paper of the Cuticura Soap and Ointment. I received a free sample of Cuticura Soap and Ointment and it was so much value to me that I bought a cake of Cuticura Soap and a box of Cuticura Ointment at the drug store. In about ten days my face began to heal up. I kept on using Cuticura Soap and Ointment and in a very short time after, the scabs dropped off the rod spots where they were vanished also. My face is now clear of the warts and not a scar is left." (Signed) LeRoy C. O'Brien, May 12. 1913. Cuticura Soap 25c. and Cuticura Ointment 60c. are sold everywhere.
