ADAIVT BOES RETIRES FROM SECRETARYSHIP Prominent Officer Honored By Directors of German Mutual Fire Insurance Co.

After passing a resolution of thanks in honor of Adam Boes, for almost a quarter of a century secretary of the German Mutual Tire Insurance company, the board of directors organized last night by electing the following officers: President, A. V. Blickwedel; vice president Adam Boes; secretary, Henry Bode; assistant secretary, William Klopp; treasurer, E. Bettenbrock; trustees, George Snyder, Casper Jelle, B. A. Kennepohl; assessors, August Wickemeyer, Fred Hackman and Joseph Vogelman. Mr. Boes, the retiring secretary of the organization, is one of the eldest officers in the directorate. For many years he served as secretary, and only stress of work induced him to ask the directors to elect another man in his place. The board honored him by naming him vice president. Mr. Boes is one of the best-known Germans in the city. The purpose of the company, which restricts its underwritings to Germans only, is to supply a high-grade insurance at a minimum cost. The company reports a prosperous business, and the treasurer's report showed a flourishing account. Easter Eggs pure and good to eat. You get them at Price's. 3-8-9 BOSTON, IND. THROW AWAY YOUR EYEGLASSES i A Free Prescription You can have filled and use at home. Do you wear glasses? Are you a victim of eyestrain or other eye weakness? If so, you will be glad to know that there is real hope for you. Many whose eyes were falling say they have had their eyes restored through the principle of this wonderful free prescription. One man eays after trying it: "I was almost blind; could not see to read at all. Now I can read everything without glasses and my eyes do not water any more. At night they would pain dreadfully; now they feel fine all the time. It was like a miracle to me." A lady who used It says: "The atmosphere seemed hazy with or without glasses, but after using this prescription for fifteen days, everything seems clear. I can even read fine print without glasses." It is believed that thousands who wear glasses can now discard them In a reasonable time and multitudes more will be able to strengthen their eyes so as to be spared the trouble and expense om ever getting glasses. Eye troubles of many descriptions may be wonderfully brfited by following the simple r. Here Is the prescription: Go to aotfve dniK store and get rftut'J Optona, fill a two-ounce pottle warm water, drop in one Optona i let, and allow to dissolve. With : liquid bathe the eyes two to four tiun -daily. You should notice your eyes clear up perceptibly right from the start and inflammation will quickly disappear. If your eyes are bothering yon even a little take steps to save them now before it is too late. Many hopelessly blind might have been saved if they had cared for their eyes b time.

There is one sure way that has never failed to remove dandruff at once, and that is to dissolve it, then you destroy it entirely. To do this, just get about four ounces of plain, common liquid arvon from any drug store (this is all you will need) apply it at night when retiring; use enough to moisten the scalp and rub it gently with the finger tips. By morning, most if not all, of your dandruff will be gone, and three or four more applications .will completely dissolve, and entirely destroy every single sign and trace of it, no matter how much dandruff you may have. You will find all Itching and digging of the scalp will stop instantly and your hair will be fluffy, luBtrous, glossy, silky and soft, and look and feel a hundred times better. If you value your hair, you should get rid of dandruff at once, for nothing destroys the hair so quickly. It not only starves the hair and makes it fall out, but It makes it stringy, straggly, dull, dry, brittle and lifeless, and everybody notices it.
