Noted Chinamen to Tell of Conditions Against Which Countrymen Contend. Dr. Ng Poon Ohew, "the Mark Twain of China," will speak in the college chapel Sunday morning, at the First Presbyterian church at 4:45, and at the First M. E. church at 7:30 o'clock. Dr. Ng is perhaps the best educated man of his race in this country. He was heard by thousands at the world's Christian cltlsens conference and was greeted with much applause. He delighted several audiences at Winona lake last season. He gives much information as to conditions in China and concerning the troubles his people have been experiencing in their efforts to establish a new government. Dr. Ng is a member of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, of the Chinese League of Justice, etc. He has been adviser to the Chinese consulate general at San Francisco. He studied in Occidental school and San Francisco Theological seminary. He entered the ministry, but resigning from this he established a Chinese weekly illustrated paper, and later established the first Chinese daily in this country. He will be heard with considerable interest in Richmond Sunday. Persons who can not hear Dr. Ng st ior i-wn rhnrchfis mav hear him

at the First Presbyterian church at 4:45 o'clock. Dr. Ng has been favorably noticed bv the press of the country. One paper calls him "the Mark Twain of China." another "the most brilliant Chinaman in America." From Toledo comes the word: "Mr. Ng Poon Chew has come and gone. In his address yesterday noon to over one hundred men at our Commercial club and again last evening at our own church to a large and intelligent audience, he made such a favorable impression that all who heard him will not soon forget Ng Poon Chew." SAGE AND SULPHUR DARKENS GRAY HAIR

It's Grandmother's Recipe to Restore Color, Gloss and Thickness.

Hair that loses its color and lustre, or when it fades, turns gray, dull and lifeless, is caused by a lack of sulphur in the hair. Our grandmother made up a mixture of Sage Tea and Sulphur to keep her locks dark and beautiful, and thousands of women and men who value that even color, that beautiful dark shade of hair which is so attractive, use only this old-time recipe. . Nowadays we get this famous mixture by asking at any drug store for a BO cent bottle of "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Hair Remedy," which darkens the hair so naturally, so evenly, that nobody can possibly tell it has been applied. Besides, it takes off dandruff, stops scalp itching and falling hair. You just dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time. By morning the gray hair disappears; but what delights the ladles with Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur is that, besides beautifully darkening the hair after a few applications, it also brings back the gloss and lustre and gives it an appearance of abundance. CHICAGO, April 8. Expendttares of 141,640,000 last year for musical instruments and instruction is basis for the claim that Chicago is' the "loud noise" in the musical world. It is a fact that the factories for the manufacture of instruments are the largest in the world, and that the experience with piano buyers on the installment plan who "skip" is altogether colossal. With the factory output of pianos in the hundreds daily, the sales machinery has had to he built on an international scale The player piano for the tribal chieftans of Borneo and Central Africa are from Chicago, and savage beasts in and out of civilization are soothed by the music made on Chicago organs, oboes, pipes, drums, horns and viols. No Jungle is complete without a few factory made pianos. If it were not for the piano traffic on the burrow, buffalo, elephant or camel caravans of remote freighting facilities they would have to go out of business. So much gut -string is used in Chicago that it is a by-word with the cats and other innocents which lend their help to the musical world. It is also said that more than $1,000,000 a year is paid out for the grand opera produced in the midst of this music industry. The diamonds displayed during the grand opera season, however, are the things that make staggering totals. For Chicago may go reluctantly from a tnncro rifnpr tn an

opera, but it doesn't take even that

much to incite the matrons to wear their tiaras and dog collars. In the matter of musical support the Apollo club may have been meager occasions, although its musical events are worthy of any city in the world, the organization being one of the great ones of international fame.

TO PROTECT RIGHTS

Twenty-fire Nines to Attend

Meeting Here.

Everything is in readiness lor the meeting of the meeting of . semi-pro baseball managers tn this city Sanday. The meeting is for th purpose of forming a . protective circuit of teams. Approximately twenty-five teams are expected to be represented at the meeting. The circuit win be for the mutual benefit of members and not for the purpose of a regular league. Although games will be held between the different nines of the circuit, the organisation is more for the purpose of protecting the interests of the teams in the organization than for the formation of a league. The circuit is the outgrowth of the attempt made by Cincinnati managers to boost the price of games. The managers of Ctncy teams have doubled the prioe for an out-of-town game over that of last year, and expected the home teams to act the goat in a quiet

manner. The goat, however, falls to submit to the trust of baseball magnates and will give the trust teams the ultimatum of 1 same price or no

WHERE THE CAUSE IS LOCATED

I hope that the poor suffering people of Richmond, Ind., especially those unfortunate, that have tried everything and got no relief, would see and read this ad and see what I have done for lots of people that had been suffering for years, chronic cases, and now they are well. A boy of Mr. and Mrs. Colly got well after doctors told the boy's mother that there was no help for him, that he was going to die. Couldn't walk, sit up, nor feed himself and Mr, Hunt was suffering with asthma for 1? years and got well in seven weeks. Mr. Meehan was suffering with deafness for 15 years, got his hearing restored in two months. Mr. Baloga suffered with deafness, weak eyes and chills, got well in six weeks. Boy of Mr. Eckhard was suffering with infantile paralysis was well in two weeks. And lots of others got well from such as stomach, headaches, rheumatism, heart, lungs, kidney, lumbago, etc., in fact no matter what your trouble may be, there is a cause for it and you cannot cure a disease unless you have its cause removed, and I can do it without drugs, surgery, massage or electricity and without pain. Sooner you have the cause removed, quicker and easier you will get well. Come today. J. WOLOTIRA, D. C, Chiropractor Rooms 306 and 307, Colonial Bldg. Cor. 7th and Main, Richmond, Ind.
