IIOHR HOT LACKING III GOOD MATERIAL tlfty High School Lads Appear for Practice At Playground Diamond. That Coach Nohr will not be lacking In material to build the Richmond high school nine was evident last night
when some fifty aspirants for places on the team turned out for two hours of strenuous work at the play ground diamond. Every position on the team has at least three or four candidates. The pitching department looks strong, as the three or four men who are trying for positions have shown class. The infield and the outfield will be well taken care of seven regulars and a host of good men who have had experience in the game. The catching question is the only worry of Nohr. Orbaugh, last year's backstop, who was counted on to do this work for the Red and White this season, was among the boys suspended from school for the painting affair. It is unlikely that he will be allowed to enter the game this year. Grimes will likely fill this gap. He is but a youngster, but has had experience in the game, and handles himself like a veteran. Lawrence ('Shorty") .Tessup is another prospect that may develop into a fit man to
fill the backstop. Shorty is good at nailins the sphere, and can clout with a vengeance. The pitching staff is composed of Hart, Williams and Hafner. Of the three. Hart has had the most experience and probably will do the bulk of the work. Williams can also hold his own, and will take his turn in the box. Hafner, who is a freshman, gives big promise and will make his older teammates work some to keep their jobs. Bob Carrey bids fair to become a star of the first magnitude. Carvey will cover first base. Bob can field like at vet. Meranda will hold down the second sack, from present indications, while Porter looks good at short. Heisman and Fivel are men who are sure of infield positions. Among the outfield men who seem sure of regular jobs are Johanning, Bavis, Murphy and J. Meranda. Although these men are likely to fill the gardens, no man is sure of his place on the team, as there is other good material.

the proposed Indiana league, to organize a circuit that would include possibly eight teams of this section of the state. Instead of this league, an organization, including these cities, was effected. The circuit includes Rushville, Newcastle, Connersville, Muncie, Anderson and Richmond. The idea of the circuit is to aid the members in booking games and other help that might be needed by a member of the circuit. It is possible that a series of games will be arranged between the members of the new organization. These

DETCH SPECIALS HOT TO PLAYT TEAM Sate Champions Unable to Play Here Any Night But Thursday.
The Y. M. C. A.-Detch Specials basketball game, which was to have been played here Thursday night, will not be pulled off that night, and probably will not be played at all, as the management of. the team is unable to se
cure the "Y" gym for the game. This was to have been the final contest of the season, and would have decided the championship of Indiana. The Detch team has won every game on its schedule this year, and would have given the locals a chance for the state flag. The Detch team has games scheduled for the remainder of the season, with the exception of Thursday night of this week, and refuses to play at any other time. The refusal of the "Y" officials to allow the teams to have the gym that night precludes further plans for the game, and it is unlikely that the two championship claimants will get together for the state title this year.

A WINTER COUGH A stubborn, annoying, depressing cough hangs on, racks the body, weakens the lungs, and often leads to serious results. The first dose of Dr. King's New Discovery gives relief. Henry D. Sanders, of Cavendish, Vt., was threatened with consumption after having pneumonia. He writes: "Dr. King's New Discovery ought to be in every family; it is certainly the best of all medicines for coughs, colds or lung trouble." Good for children's coughs. I How to Look Years 1 Less Than Your Age .
The most aged face will look years younger after the use of ordinary mercollzed wax for from ten days to two weeks. This remarkable substance, because of its peculiar absorptive power, actually removes the thin veil of faded or withered outer cuticle, a little at a time. Gradually the fresher, more youthful skin underneath is revealed. This absorption process being a purely hy genie one, an entirely natural complexion is acquired quite different from the artificial complexion, which appears anything hut girlish, though often bearing painful evirlenop of childishness. An ounce of mrrcolied wax. obtainable at any drug store, is sufficient to rejuvenate any complexion. It is put on like cold cream at bedtime, and removed mornings with warm water. To eradicate such age marks as wrinkles and furrows, make a wash lotion by dissolving 1 oz. powdered saxolite in i pint witch hazel. This has powerful astringent and tonic properties. It quickly effaces all kinds of wrinkles, no matter how caused, making the skin firm, smooth and young looking. (Advertisement)
