SPORT JABS Manager Jack Hendricks, of the Indianapolis Indians, gave his men a rest yesterday after several days of hard work. PROGRAM IS PLANNED FOR OPENING OF PARK
Richard Sedgwick, one of the officers of the Morton Lake association, announced today that the formal opening of the new park would take place May 18. Appropriate ceremonies are being planned, including addresses by prominent citizens, a water pageant and band concert. "We are going to have the Inest bathing beach in this part of the country," said Mr. Sedgwick.
