cared for the sick, consoled the distressed, buried the dead and have spent thousands for the care of widows and orphans of deceased brothers. What we have done in relief work shows the stand taken for real brotherhood and for the uplifting of humanity. We have a right to rejoice tonight to be proud of the record which shows deeds of kindness and which inspires us to remember our duty and keep the fires of the true fraternalism burning." A. Fee Ireton, speaking of the uniform rank company, of which he is captain, explained that the supreme lodge in 1878 established the military department. Within ten years the membership had grown to 10,000 and now 65,000 men are members of the department. The local company was organized December 11, 1883, with J. H. Cook as captain and George R. Williams, first lieutenant. The local company has attended conventions at Toronto, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Kanpas City. Washington, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Detroit, Louisville, New Orleans, Boston and Milwaukee. Highest Rank Here. "The Uniform Rank is the highest local rank which can be conferred on the Knicht of Pythias," he said. After twenty-five years members are exempt from dues and are practically made honorary members of the order." The work of the insurance department -which has been in operation for thirty-seven years was explained by John C. Darnell. He said that thousands of widows and orphans of K. of V's were assisted through this department. In speaking for Calanthe Temple, No. !, Pythian Sisters, Mrs. Lida Roser said that the local temple had 125 sisters and 180 knights as members of the temple. Mrs. May Fryar, of this city, was the first presiding officer of the local temple, the first past grand chief of Indiana and the first past supreme chief of the world. Mrs. Roser also spoke of the fact that ihe organization is placing orphans in private homes and not in an orphan's home.

OVER HALF OF ALL SICKNESS CAUSED BYCLOGGED-UP WEAKENED KIDNEYS Hundreds Are Suffering with Kidney Trouble and Don't Know It. Backache, Bladder Disorder and Rheumatism Are the Result.
It is a well recognized fact among physicians today, that the greater part of all sickness can be avoided by keeping the kidneys working properly. This is even more important than for the bowels to move regularly, because the kidneys and bladder are the filters and sewers of the body. If you Buffer with pains in the back or sides, bladder or urinary disorders, lumbago, rheumatism, dizziness, puffy swellings under the eyes or in the feet and ankles, nervousness, tired and worn-out feeling, or any of the many other symptoms of kidney trouble, don't neglect yourself another day and run the risk of serious complications. Secure an original package of Croxone, which costs but a trifle, take three doses a day, for a few days, and you will be surprised how entirely different you will feel. Croxone overcomes the very worst cases because it removes the cause of
such troubles. It soaks right in and cleans out the kidneys and makes them filter out all the poisonous waste matter and uric acid that lodges in the Joints and muscles, causing rheumatism; soothes and heals the bladder and quickly ends all such troubles. It is the most wonderful remedy ever made for the purpose. You will find it entirely different from anything you have ever used. There is nothing else on earth to compare with it. It matters not how old you are or how long you have suffered, the very principle of Croxone is such that it is practically impossible to take it into the human system without results. You can secure an original package of Croxone from any first-class drug store. All druggists are authorized to personally return the purchase price if Croxone fails to give the desired results the very first time you u?e it. (Advertisement)
