HEAVIEST CONTEST OF SEASON FRIDAY Wabash-Earlham Game Bids Fair to Be Battle From Opening Whistle to Final Gong. With the heaviest game of its ' schedule only four days distant, Coach Reagan is driving his squad of Earlham basketball tossers to the limit, to get the men on edge for the Wabash battle. With the exception of Dale, a freshman, the entire Wabash five is composed of veterans. Dale is the Lebanon high school star, who was considered by critics to be the fastest man on the floor, at the Indiana state meet, held at Bloomington last March. Wabash has made the best record of any secondary school in the state, having taken every game on its secondary schedule.. The Earlham coach, on the other hand, believes the visitors will be treated to a big surprise Friday night. Heagan no whas a trio of forwards, Wolfe, Rowe and Logan, which will be hard to beat. With Kemper at the pivotal point and Lancaster and Williams at the guard positions the Quakers may present a lineup that will cause trouble. THE BEST OF ALL LAXATIVES When the proper dose is taken the effect of Chamberlain's Tablets is so natural that you do not realize that it has been produced by a medicine. Mrs. F. J. Braun, Fort Wayne, Ind., writes: "Last fall I used a bottle of Chamberlain's Tablets and have never seen their equal for constipation." Sold by all dealers. 'Advertls9ireot H. O'DAY LEAVES WITH 14 PLAYERS CHICAGO, Feb. 17. Manager Hank O'Day, with fourteen ball players, left last night for Tampa, Florida, where he will begin the task of developing one half of a new infield for the Cubs. The desertion of Shortstop Bridwell, who jumped to the Federals, and the loss of Johnny Evers, left holes about The keystone sack, which will have to be filled by the new manager. HOW THIN PEOPLE CAN PUT ON FLESH A New Discovery Thin men and women that big, hearty, filling dinner you ate last night, What became of all the fat-producing nourishment it contained? You haven't gained in weight one ounce. That food passed from your body like unhurned coal through an open grate. The material was there, but your food doesn't work and stick, and the plain truth is you hardly get enough nourishment from your meals to pay for the cost of cooking. This is true of thin folks the world over. Your nutritive organs, your functions of assimilation, are sadly out of gear and need reconstruction. Cut out the foolish foods and funny Bawdust diets. Omit the flesh cream rub-ons. Cut out everything but the meals you are eating now and eat with every one of those a single Sargol tablet. In two weeks note the difterence. Five to eight good solid pounds of healthy, "stay there" fat should be the net result. Sargol charges your weak, stagnant blood with millions ot fresh new red blood corpuscles gives the blood the carrying power to deliver every ounce of fat-making material in your food to every part of your body. Sargol, too, mixes with your food and prepares it for the blood in easily assimilated form. Thin people gain all the way from 10 to 25 pounds a month while taking Sargol, and the new flesh stays put. Sargol tablets are a scientific combination of six of the best fleshprodncing elements known to chemistry. They come 40 tablets to a packago, are pleasant, harmless and inexpensive, and Leo H. Fihe and all other druggists in Richmond and vicinity sell them subject to an absolute guarantee of weight increase or money back.
Watch Carefully
Start Them Off Right With a Good Laxative and Then Watch Their Food. Mothers are often unconsciously very careless about the diet of their children, forcing all to eat the same foods. The fact is that all foods do not agree alike with different persons. Hence, avoid what seems to constipate the child or to give it indigestion, and urge it to take more of what is quickly digested. If the child shows a tendency to constipation it should immediately be given a mild laxative to help the bowels. By this is not meant a physic or purgative, for these should never be given to children, nor anything like salts, pills, etc. What the child requires is simply a small dose of the gentlest of medicines, such as Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin, which, in the opinion of thousands of watchful mothers. Is the ideal remedy for any child showing a tendency to constipation. So many tilings can happen to a constipated child that care is necessary. Colds, piles, headaches, sleeplessness, and many other annoyances that children should not have can usually be traced to constipation. Many of America's foremost families are never without Syrup Pepsin, because one can never tell when some member of the family may need it, and all can use it. Thousands endorse it, among them Mrs. M. E. Patten, Valley Junction, Iowa, who it never without

An audience that filled every seat in the Gennett theatre welcomed the Francis Sayles company to their new home last night. Long before time for the curtain to rise on the first act of The Gamblers every seat in the theatre was sold and many people were turned away. "The Gamblers" is a play of high finance by Chas. Klein and is one of the best seen here this season and the Sayles Players present it in their usual high standard, the play being perfectly staged and TAKE SODA FOR ACID STOMACH, SOURNESS, GAS A 10 grain Sodagen tablet, taken any time, followed by a glass of water will instantly neutralize acidity; absorb gases and sweeten the stomach, thus relieving Indigestion without fail. Indigestion does not result from a lack of digestive juices as most folks believe, but from an excess of hydrochloric acid in the stomach which retards digestion and starts food fermentation. Then our meals sour like garbage in a can, forming acrid fluids and -gases which inflate the stomach like a toy balloon producing a heavy, lumpy feeling in the chest, we eructate sour food, belch up gas or have flatulence, heartburn or nausea. Any pharmacist can supply a pack age of these 10 grain Sodagen tablets and thousands of stomach sufferers will be able to eat without dread after ridding the digestive organs of excess acid this way, says a noted authority who further states that this Antacid is entirely harmless being composed of Soda.
