The contestant winning this prize will be privileged to get $5.00 in trade from the merchants advertising on this page. Contestant is to call at the Palladium office for the $5 due bill.
MetlROd Used in Counting Votes Great care is taken in counting these votes. They are collected each Saturday afternoon and counted the same day by representatives of the First National Bank and The Richmond Palladium. After each store's votes are sorted and counted separately, a chart is made showing number of votes cast for each contestant and at which store. These votes are then deposited in the vault of the First National Bank until the end of the contest when the prize will be given to the winning contestant.
