The regular meeting of Trinity Lutheran league was held last evening with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Juergens. There was a large attendance despite the inclemency of the weather. Matters of importance were considered at this time. The annual fun night of the Tourist club will be observed this evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Nicholson on East Main street. The decorations will be appropriate to the season. There will be stereoptlcon pictures and various amusements for the pleasure of the members. All the members ore invited to attend. There will be several guests. MUSICAL EVENTS. The public is invited to attend the recital to be given this evening in the

high school auditorium by Misa Elizabeth Hasemeter, when she. will present a number of her piano pupils. She will be assisted by Miss Marguerite Hasemeier, violinist, and Mrs. F. W. Krueger, vocalist. The program as announced yesterday will be given. No admission will be asked. The recital will begin promptly at 7:45 o'clock. An informal musical program was presented yesterday morning at the Richmond Business College. The affair was in charge of Mr. Foss, chairman; Misses Mary Crump and Pauline Wrede. There were several guests in attendance. Prof. Jesse Wood . played several piano, numbers. Misses Rhea Fitzglbbons and O'Brien sang a pretty duet with piano accompaniment by Miss Lucile Carney. A violin solo was well played by Miss Pauline Wrede. Miss Ruth Study played a piand solo and Mr. Foss sang two or three solos with piano accompaniment by his mother, Mrs. Foss. AS THEY COME AND GO Miss Hazel Thomas, who has been spending the past fortnight in Con-

nersville with her sister, Mrs. Wilbur Rldpath, will return home Saturday. This evening Miss Thomas will attend a dance to be given at Oonnersville in honor of -the BrookvlUe basketball team. Daniel O. Reld of New York Is the guest of his brothers in the city to

day.

H. F. Burk of New Castle was In the city on business Wednesday. Miss Martina BroBler of Milwaukee who has been visiting friends in the city for some time, will leave for home Sunday. Miss Grace Kelly, of Richmond, is the week end guest of Misses Winifred Brown, Lenna Stretch and Imogene Smith. Miss Kelly came to attend the assembly dance. New Castle Times.
