For this week a prize of $5.00 will be given to the contestant casting the biggest vote for this week. Now if you have any votes that you are holding back for final count cast them this week and get this week's prize. Great interest is being shown not only by the contestants but by their friends and relatives who are all working faithfully for their favorite. This week's count shows that the vote is more evenly divided. All votes must be stamped with Name of Merchant After the next count which will be next Saturday, (Feb. 14) all votes must have the stamp of the merchant where the vote is obtained.. Therefore if you have any votes obtained in the past few weeks cast them this week, otherwise they will be thrown out as "No Good." -This method is being enforced by all merchants in this contest. For further information regarding this ruling inquire of your merchant.

MeHhod Used in CouialBiig Votes Great care is taken in counting these votes. They are collected each Saturday afternoon and counted the same day by representatives of the First National Bank and The Richmond Palladium. After each store's votes are sorted and counted separately, a chart is made showing number of votes cast for each contestant and at which store. These votes are then deposited in the vault of the First National Bank until the end of the contest when the prize will be given to the winning contestant.
