The end of the second week finds over 200,000 votes cast in the Pony, Cart and Harness Contest. Carl Pfeiffer is in the lead with 30,705 votes; James Henderson second with 26.565; Roland Wrede third with 20,500. Over 115 contestants have registered, which shows that great interest is being taken by the boys and girls of Richmond. Elsewhere on this page are given 55 of the contestants names and number of votes cast by each. Because of lack of space it is impossible to give all the names but if any contestant wishes to know the number of votes cast for him, he can obtain this information by calling at the Palladium office where an account of all votes is kept. There is still ten weeks before the contest closes, and as every week the votes will be published, each contestant who hasn't made a showing this time should make an especial effort this week to get votes.

, and Where Kepll The utmost care is taken in counting these votes. They will be collected each Saturday afternoon and counted the same day by Albert Feeger of the First National Bank and members of the Richmond Palladium. After each store's votes are counted separately a chart is made showing number of votes cast for each contestant and at which store. These votes then with chart are deposited in the First National Bank vault until the end of the contest when the prize is given the winning contestant.
