TABERNACLE NOTES The Reliance Foundry sent a delegation of forty , men to the tabernacle meeting last night. Today has been set aside as a day of prayer over the country in the interests of the temperance forces and their effort to have a constitutional amendment prohibiting the licensing of liquor. This was emphasized in the prayer meetings this morning. Philip Gates played "Face to Face" on his French Lorn and was loudly applauded. The chorus was unusually large last night. Its music was warmly appreciated, especially its "Sail Home" and "Xobody Cares." Prof, and Mrs. Clase sang a duet, "There Is Glory in My Soul." Rev. Honeywell is confident the collections will be wound up by Sunday and all current expenses be gotten out of the road. Prof. Clase had the crowd whistle and hum one song. Hundreds went forward last night in a re-consecration service. Another men's luncheon will be held at the Y. M. C. A. tomorrow noon. v If you wouM only 0t down on your knees and go to work, it wouldn't take long to pray this old town Into the kingdom. I have tasted pf every earthly joy. I have drunk the cup of pleasure dry. It Is well with the man who takes sn occasional glass? No. Mothers of Richmond, I could turn your hair gray this night if you only knew what I have learned about your sons here. You women eat too miich and sleep too well while your husbands and sons are -going to hell at a terrible clip. , I have never been in a town where the young men are going to hell as speedily as in, Richmond. Your boys and girls are going to hell at a terrific pace. You fathers and mothers in the churches, you are leading your own child down to hell. " The trouble with you Richmond people Is that you are too slow with your religion. I preach to no particular class. I am anxious to help all. Is it well with the? No. Not if you are here without Jesus Christ. Are our churches full of men or women?. They are full of women. But are our saloons full of men or women? They are full of men! Men, I would not exchange my hope of eternal life for a deed to this earth. REFLECTIONS When evening twilight shadows fall. And through my thoughts a silence steals. 'Tis then that my memory recalls To the "might have beens" and alL Thou hast prayed for strength, Thou hast prayed for him, Thou gavest all thy love to him. Thou gavest honour at length. But whilst thy love was true; Whilst he knew thy meaning well, For thou gavest it so well, His love he gaveth not to thee. Thou hast passed from my being, But thy vision still seeing, For many times thinketh I of thee. Of thee yes, thee. These lines the author writes with meaning, For he is still seeing and dreaming. Couldst thou ever forget? No. Never. Thou shalt be thought of forever. ' Clarence C, Dann, City. IS Officer Bishop Files Affidavits in Juvenile Court. Affidavits charging truancy against threo fourteen-year-old children and their parents, have been filed by Attendance Officer Bishop. Vivian Smith Raymond Newman and Robert McGee are those charged. The children were given permits to work last fall but for some time, they have been idle. They refused to get work and Bishop brought the matter into juvenile court. The parents, whose names are included in the affidavits are Charles E. Smith, 1704 North F street; Albert Newman, 721 North Nineteenth street; and William McGee, 18 North Thirteenth street. the body as waste. What such people need is something that will prepare these fatty food elements so that their blood can absorb them and deposit them all about the Tody something, too, that will multiply their red blood corpuscles and Increase their blood's carying power. For such a condition I always recommend eating a Sargol tablet with every meal. Sargol is not, as some believe, a patented drug, but is a scientific combination of six of the most effective and powerful flesh-building elements known to chemistry. It is absolutely harmless, yet wonderfully effective, and a single tablet eaten with each meal often has the effect of increasing the weight of a thin man or woman from three to five pounds a veek. Sargol is sold by good druggists everywhere on a positive guarantee of weight increase or money back. (Advertlseni9ct
