CAMBRIDGE CITY. Ind.. Jan. 8 Reorganisation of the town council was effected at a meeting last night, F. C Moebaugh being elected president. John B. Gray and Oscar Chase succeed Joseph Moore and John Hazelrlgg, the retiring members. Carl Chanmap was elected marshal, succeeding Dan Drischel, who has served for nearly twenty-three years. FelixDirk was elected clerk and Richard Ressler treasurer Will Ouyton, who has owned and operated the Cambridge City laundry during sixteen yearB, has sold the business to Herman Barnett, who took possession Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Guyton will spend a portion of the winter in Florida. Owing to sickness among the members the installation of officers in the ythian Sisters' lodge was postponed from Tuesday evening or this week until next Tuesday evening. M. L. Bowmaster has returned after a visit with relatives in Lancaster, Pa., and on Monday, was in Indiana polis. Mrs. Charles Sites, of Fort Wayne, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Susie Ouyton, and Mrs. L. D. Ogborn. Mr. and Mrs. F M. Danner and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Weed were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stawnah, at dinner, Sunday evening. A social hour will follow the installation of the officers of the I. O. O. F. lodge. Stag Party. Mrs. John Wissler entertained a number of gentlemen at a stag party Tuesday evening, in honor of hor husband. A bounteous supper was served, after which cards and smoking passed the hours. The following gentlemen comprised the party: Messrs. Charles WVeeler, F. 1 1 Ohmit. Charles Kellar, Robert Hughes, Elinor Wheelan, K. V. "Wheelan and Charles Young. The Dorcas Aid society met yesterday afternoon at the home of Miss Virginia Barnett. There will be work tonight in the I'ocahontas degree, the raising of chiefs. The Presbyterian Guild met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. George Stombaugh. This was the tt-fetitm for the annual election of officers at which time Mrs. Howard Whireley whs elected president, Mrs. K I). Filby, vice president, Mrs. Stoniliaitgh. secretary and treasurer. The next meeting will be that in two eeks at the homp or Mrs Howard Whiteley. Mr. and Mrs. H. 1?. Miller and Mrs. K I'. Hahn were guests of Mrs. Jennie Jones at dinner, Tuesday evening.
