Every boy and girl in the city and country will hear with pleasue that the leading merchants of this city will begin a PONY CART AND HARNESS CONTEST. The prizes will be given to the boy or girl obtaining the largest number of votes. The merchants whose ads are on this page will give out votes on purchases made at their stores. It is not often that boys or girls have an opportunity such as this to obtain such a valuable prize. We suggest that you get busy at once and register your name as a contestant. After the third week of this contest, which will continue for 12 weeks, ending March 28, 1914, we will publish the names of the contestants and number of votes received by each. Any enterprising little boy or girl that intends entering this contest will register his or her name at once so as to make the best showing at the time the votes are counted and published, on January 18.
