PARENTS MUST SET EXAMPLE FOR CHILD (Continued from Pago One)

mother. A child, uncontrolled at three, will be an outlaw at twenty. "A lady who had raised seven noble Christian sons with not a black sheep in the flock, was asked how she did it. She replied, 'I did it with much prayer and a good hickory.' "I never see a hen gather her little ones under her wings as a hawk flies over the yard but I wish while our moral atmosphere is literally full of the hawks of hell that our mothers and fathers would keep their children close under the wing of parent authority and love. Child Follows Elders."It is the nature of the child to follow. Some time ago, in a revival service of mine, sat a father and mother ami their only little boy, about four years old. I knew them well. They loved that little fellow dearly and were careful in their home training. On asking for all who were Christians ,,r desired to be such, to stand to their feet, the mother arose and the little fellow stood on the seat, beside her. Turning to his father the little fellow said in a loud tone so that we fill ould hear: 'Papa, you stand.' The father shook his head. Whereupon that baby boy dropped down on the seat beside his father and said: 'Papa no love Jesus, me wont love Him.' That strong mnn bowed his head and wept and we all wept with him. To us all it was most touching example of the power of parental influence. 'Papa no love Jesus, me wont love Him.' "Fathers you nre the high priest of your household and Cod demands that yon rule that home with authority as veil as love. "Mothers, you are the guardian angels of your little ones. Children are looking up into both your faces and asking which way to iso. They are following your footsteps. Do not. lead them in tho wrong way." Give Special Music. Special music was furnished by the First Presbyterian quartet composed of Mrs. Kreuger, Mrs. I.ongnecker, Frank Braffett and Otto Krone. There wore about 20 in the tabernacle choi u. Members of the First, Second and Reid Memorial Presbyterian churches, the Friends and the Lutheran churches attended in a body.
