Borders is the recipient of a box of mistletoe from her son, who lives in Arkansas. The ladles of the M. E. church finished a pretty quilt for a lady in Chicago, Friday. A large crowd attended the enter- i tainments give by the school Friday evening in the Farmers Bank hall. The play given by the high school pupils entitled "Christmas on tne Crossroads," was well received, as was also the cantata, "Foxy Santa Claus," given by pupils of the grades. ! Miss Nora Murphy, who is a teacher in the Richmond schools, returned home Friday evening. Joseph Klieber returned Friday evening from a few days' visit at Indianapolis. Frank Doty has gone to Zanesville, O., to spend a few days at the pottery works. . Miss Sarah Roberts entertained Mrs. I Phoebe Michael and daughter, Carrie ; and Mrs. Anna Dodge at dinner Fri- ! day.
