PLAYS WAITING GAME
Hon. Finley and Judge George Hankering After Nomination.
A report is bring generally circulated throughout the Sixth congressional district that Congressman Finly Gray Ih seriously considering the appointment, of his brother, Quincy Oray, as postmaster of Connersville, an office which has a $1,100 a year salary appended to it, which looks exceeding good to the Gray Brethren. It is generally believed that Congressman Gray sees no reason why this political plum should get out of the family. It is hinted, however, that is Quincy Gray is to be attached to the federal pay roll, announcement to this effect will be withheld until the Fayette county and the district Democratic convention are held next Hpring. for Judge George Gray Is seeking renomination for his judicial office, and the honorable Finiy Gray is hankering for his third nomination as congressman. Would Be Faux Pas. Both the judge anfl the congressman are keen enough politicians to realize that slipping the Connersville postoffic.e to Quincy prior to the spring convention would be the French term of faux pas, which, translated into the American tongue, is a boneheaded or Alerkle play. Quincy Gray is engaged in business at Connersville and formerly was in the automobile business at Rushivlle. It is said he has the same taste for public office that is possessed by his two brothers.

The official seal of the corporation of London was formally "broken" on the 1st of December and a new one substituted. The old one had been In constant use for 532 years. It had only one predecessor, which was destroyed In 1381, because it was "too small, rude and ancient." The seal, which was used for the last time on the 1st, was of silver, about the size of a dollar. It is5 much worn and blurred. It probably was used 1,500 times annually, or 708,000 times altogether.
.Mrs. Lorillard Spencer, for years one of the leaders of New York anil Newport society, will not be successful in the mission on which she has just started, according to military experts who have been in the Philippines. Mrs. Spencer, accompanied by Miss Virginia Young, a ProtestantEpiscopal deaconess, has sailed for Liverpool, enroute to Jolo, the capital of the Suiu group. There she hopes to establish schools and inculcate Christian religious and industrial ideas among the savage Moros. who are the most fanatic of Mohammedans. Mrs. Spencer has promised her son that if at the end of a year she finds that she has made no progress she will return to America.

LADIES! SECRET TO DARKEN GRAY HAIR
Bring Back Its Color and Lustre With Grandma's Sage Tea Recipe. Common, garden sage brewed into a heavy tea, with sulphur and alcohol added, will turn gray, streaked and laded hair beautifully dark and luxuriant; remove every bit of dandruff, stop scalp itching and falling hair. Mixing the Sage Tea and Sulphur recipe at home, though, is troublesome. An easier way is to get the ready-to-use tonic, costing about 50 cents a large bottle,
at drug stores, known as "YVyeth's
Sage and Sulphur Hair Remedy," thus avoiding a lot of muss. While wispy, gray, faded hair is not sinful, we all desire to retain our youthful appearance and attractiveness. By darkening your hair with Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur, no one can tell, because it does it so naturally, so evenly. You Just dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning all gray hairs have disappeared. After another application or two your hair becomes beautifully dark, glossy, soft and luxuriant and you appear years younger, t Advertisement)
