MILTON. Ind., Dec. 8 The first; wildcat believed to have been killed in this part of the state in years, was i shot by Walter Wissler, son of Henry i Wissler, of Liberty, and brother of ; Lawrence Wissler. of Milton. ' He wrote a letter to the correspondent here, telling of his exciting experience. It follows, in part: "I am a trapper, and this morning while going to my traps in the vicinity of where I live, seven miles south of Liberty, I was startled on approaching a certain trap on Patrick Hunt's farm about ninety rods from my home to hear a wild scream. At a nearer approach I saw what I thought to ba large house cat, but on more thorough examination found tnat it was a genuine wildcat. It was caught by the righ. front foot and showed fight, but soon gave me an apportunity to shoot. I landed a bullet as squarely between her eyes as if it had been measured. Evidently it had eaten a rabbit from the same trap the night before. The cat measured three feet seven inches from tip to tip." Mr. Wissler lives on Rural Route No. 4 out of Liberty, and is well known here, where he formerly lived with his parents. Last year several Milton hunters were aftor a wildcat that had been southeast of here. They failed to find any trace of it.

Consumption Takes

ubu reopie uany in the United States and the deadly germs claim more victims in cities than in rural districts, due no doubt to the increased number of .indoor workers in confining quarters and their lack of sunshine. . Tubercular germs always attack when the system is weakened from colds or sickness, overwork, overstrain, confining duties or any drain which has reduced the resistive forces of the body But nature always provides a corrector and the best physicians emphasize that during changing climate our blood should be kept rich and pure and active by taking Scott's Kmulsion after meals; the cod liver oil in Scott's Emulsion warms the body by enriching the blood it peculiarly strengthens the lungs and upbuilds the resistive forces of the body to avoid colds and prevent consumption. If you work indoors, tire easily, feel languid or nervous, Scott's Emulsion is the most strengthening food-medicine known; it builds energy and strength and is totally free from alcohol or any stupefying drug every druggist has it. li-106 Srott Bowie.
